Solas Security was founded in Dubai in 2023 by a team with over 10 years of experience in maritime and cyber security, in partnership with Solverminds, a global maritime technology leader.
The partnership was built on a shared conviction: that security in critical industries must be led by people who have operated in those environments, not just advised on them. Today, Solas builds the AI-governance overlay that sits on top of the security and GRC stack regulated operators already own (discovery, posture, release gating and tamper-evident evidence), wrapped by the consulting and managed-security teams that run it. We map engagements to UAE PDPL, NESA/SIA and ADHICS before ISO or the EU AI Act, because those are the regimes that reach our customers first.
